..once a thread has been moved the updates to that thread in the 'old forum' it was located in shouldn't be updated. But the new location should be. Just an Idea

...or more specifically it shouldn't be "bumped" up in the old forum, as it kind of defeats the purpose of moving it.

Nah, it does need to be updated in the original forum for a day or so cos otherwise you could just lose it...
