My screen keeps randomly flickering into different shades of colours Confused Not sure if it's the actual monitor or the graphics card Confused
I've tried wigglying the cables and it doesn't seem to be caused by loose cables.

Mine does that, and I think mine is the graphics card. Caused by spilling coke and beer on the pc and it then fizzling Rolling Eyes Confused ]

Have you checked the drivers are installed right?

the cable from your monitor is nice and tightly plugged into the back of computer isn't it? if it is, then you want to have a look at the pins on the plug on your monitor lead. If there's some missing then there's your problem Razz if that's so me suggests a new monitor!

give the monitor a good smack on the side, and as someone already said, try wiggling the cables about. When some monitors get old the soldered joints inside start to go, so giving it a whack might make contact again.

Does it seem to 'lose' a colour? i.e. does the screen go all reddish etc..?

I've tried wiggling the cables and all the pins are there.
It flickers into a different shade of colour, i.e. from working normally it will flicker into a shade of red or blue etc...
