I'm new to the world of bikes just past my CBT etc.

i've decided on the best bike for me, I think, really would like a few peoples opinions .

I need a bike that will be able to get me from uni to home a couple of times a year, so must be able to do 60-70 easily (no motorway on route)

Settled on a 125, looked at the following:

1. MITO
2. RS125
3. NSR125RR
4. Sachs XTR 125

I've looked about and made what i think to be the best decision from me, but would like some feed back as to what you think.

MITO and the RS125, nice but not as reliable as the NSR and the XTR.
Down fall with the XTR is thats its a 4 stroke and lacks the power that I will want and costs a but too much.

NSR has some great reviews I know that there are other bikes and on a long hall that the NSR wont be that comfortable, but looks are more important to me Cool !

What do you guys think is this suitable? What should I look to pay for one, I want one from 1999-04.

Really sorry for the length of the post!

Cheers

Hi

To be honest, if you are using if for distances fairly often then I would be tempted to go for the NSR (and I own an RS125). The NSR has a more comfortable riding position for any kind of distance.

All the best

Keith

I'd agree with keith.

I preseume the looks/status is a major thing for you? (as you've specified a newer bike).

i third that.
for one, your buying honda, and everyone knows that honda are quality.
and G, i think he's after a newer one also for reliability as he wants to travel some distance and be safe in the knowledge that its unlikely for his engine to blow up.
