|
|
Sorry to go on about this people but last Sunday me and a mate (kornel saw our bikes but not us) lost our Box Hill virginity!
We saw lots of naughty things going on but we had to make a move back after only an hour (mate had to revise). I saw a couple of other NSR125's (and a sweet 250) one in need of ....well most things really! including a tail-light! and one was a 2001 red/blue with a StGeorge Numberplate. My mate thinks he saw one with a flipup numberplate too!
Did anyone see the red/black Harris Fireblade* nutter with the green craft bash-hat on? Fuckin mental geezer, came skidding into the carpark after passing a rozzer at about 160!
There was also a couple of TT bikes (orange no.69) that I saw parked up!
Is this normally the turnout? cos fuck me it was quality!!!!
(excuse me but I'm still buzzin even now! )

*Dubious road legality with no indicators, mirrors, led brake-light,race can, blanked off h-light,back wheel in the air all day...you know the score! |

Hi
if you get a road map and look south-west of London past the M25 theres a town called Dorking and its basically there. Bikers come from all over the UK and is reguallary mentioned in motorcycle magazines like MCN ect. Its great the maximum numbers of bikes was about 800 someone said but its only worth going if its really sunny. Most people hang about checking out eachothers bikes or watch the good guy's pull wheelies stopies ect and some people just cruse about with eachother.

Yeah, it was mate (even though I've been told it wasn't half of what it can be in the height of summer AND there weren't many nsr's)
I was gonna go yesterday (im addicted now) but the weather turned to shite
Anyone go yesterday? When are we all gonna meet up there? |

Sweet dude, thanx Tin...
Well i cant wait to get the NSR now, but it looks like it'll either be the end of April i'l get it or the end of May... the sooner the better, but just calculating the amount of cash i'l have...
Well when i get it, does ne one live ne where near where i live? (Bromley, Croydon, Biggin Hill, erm... Catford, beckenham?)
Perhaps it'll be better if i were to meet up with some1 and go to Box hill, but i'm sure it doesnt matter, i think after all those years of geography i learnt how to read a map?!
Ne how, cheers, Tony... |

Get your bike soon mate and I'll meet you on the way to Box Hill cos I go past Biggin Hill on the way.
Hurry up and get your bike before the summers here!

BTW- I used to live in Bromley and Lewisham, so not far from your place. Any nice roads around there? |

Sweet, always good news...
Well, when ive nicked my mates ped ( usually to go get macy d's... )... i noticed that:
(1) The straight by Biggin Hill past the airport is pretty good... Bit short though...
(2) On the way to Biggin Hill when u go past keston there are those windy roads, dont think these are too good for a ped... but i'l be getting the NSR soon...
(3) Bromley common i'm sure you know is pretty good provided it isnt in rush hour... thats where i had a GSX 750 do a wheely next to me and then burn it past... ~ So degrading but cool ~... :o
Ne how be looking forward to it, should be fun!
Later, Tony... |
