Whats up people.
After buying my drz, I have become hooked on the world of supermoto. Is it just me or are there any other enthusiasts on the forum that are new to it or even a seasoned veteran?
I just want to get more information on this great way of life, maybe some links to a few sites.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers everybody and safe riding. ____________________ Gas on, clutch out, wheel up! |

Damn those things look the bollocks, I love the subtle styling on the WR. Is it a hard sport to learn or an expensive one?
I remember when I wanted to start racing road bikes but realised my apprentice wages couldn't cover the cost of a bike, tyres, fuel and track time hire.
Who cares though, supermoto looks like the most fun you can have below the ton. ____________________ Gas on, clutch out, wheel up! |

Yams was that the WR 400? Looks lovely mate. Are they expensive to buy and insure? Could see one as a 33bhp jobby maybe. ____________________ Honda MBX50 | Yamaha RD125LC | Suzuki RG125F Lucky Strike | Suzuki GSF600S

I think my ultimate supermoto, would have to be a TDR250 with a YPVS350 lump, and better suspension and tyres too!
I wouldnt mind making a DT400MX into a kind of old school supermoto, like some guy has done recently with an XT500, which looks bloody brilliant!
Till then i'll be working on my own DRZ beater, aka my KMX! |
