The 2.5 ton buick will run a 13.6 quarter mile stock, or three tenths slower than an Evo, the corvette will hit 60 in about 5 flat. The camaro we had dipped into the 12's on a few occasions, thats supercar territory-£138 to insure

I don't know, lets ask the racing car series they were based on...

They used them as stock cars to tackle both ovals and roadtracks back in the 80's (the third gen that we had) they have IMMENSE lateral grip, but you don't want to be in one when it lets go, they are extremely hard to keep on the limit. When we had a gearbox difficulty, it would only change at 5500 rpm, at wot. At the top of first, it was doing 45 MPH, and had only just changed into third at 85 MPH. It would spin the rears up to 45 in first, then chirup the tires during the 1st-2nd change. It was wet when we had to take it up to Aldershot to have the 'box done, and he lost it twice on roundabouts, got away with it somehow though. They have a stiff ride and aren't as heavy as they look.

This is a slightly tarted one: ours was similar, but a coupe in gunmetal grey.
