1,3 and 4 are tip top

2 isn't a bad band, just didn't vibe with it.

Next gig is Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs.

Warmduscher could be a Karma button. Cool

A member of the Solstice/Equinox jam band has the lurgy which means I'm at a loose end this evening (suits me as I'm feeling knackered).

Currently letting this waft across my ears.

I believe it's Swedish for And.

As a fellow Celt (which is actually pronounced C-u-n-t) I too carry baggage with them Jutes et al.

Rainy day today, so I'm going to go through all sorts of music. Starting with Soundgarden, the Beyond this mortal coil album. Yet again, it's a compilation CD.

Kinda music related, as the the Film and the Album are sorta one and the same.

Watched the Mike Skinner film "The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light" last night.

Was decent in an arty kinda way.
Didn't know that Mike was there, he stayed for a Q&A afterwards.
I got to shake his hand, which turned me into a giggling teenage groupie.

Having a night off tonight, then back into Manchester for Dream Wife and Prima Queen on Thursday.

Well, what a night...

Rocked into Manchester again with my mate in tow this time.
Headed to the venue - Canvas
Line-up

Ash Kenazi
Prima Queen
Dream Wife

Ash Kenazi is some crazy drag queen opera-pop singer.
Didn't know anything about the show, never heard of them, was a complete surprise, totally different to what I would choose to listen to.
But damn, there's some range on that voice.
Both my mate and I were totally gobsmacked.
Tip Top!

Prima Queen - Really like this band, didn't know they were on the line-up until months after I bought the gig tickets.
Their drummer was sick, which was gutting but even though there was only 75% of the band the whole performance was 100% awesome.
Tip Top!

Dream Wife - The reason I nabbed these tickets in the first place.
Excellent band, fuck tons of energy and zero fucks given.
Everyone went mental, the music was great, the interaction was awesome.
Tip Fucking Top!!

It was the 1st gig of the tour, and I bought the 1st merch tshirt from them on the 1st night of the tour cos I'm properly cool as fuck.

Met all the bands during and after the gig, photos, chingwags, and it was cool.
One of those gigs that every time you think about it you have a huge grin on your face.

My mate had only been to 1 gig before, and within 20mins of the start he was really into it.
He now has the bug and will be a decent gig buddy.

I uploaded some pics to instagram, cos I have 6 followers and I'm a big deal, and the bands liked them and dropped me a message.

Brilliant evening, got into bed around 3am.
Working from home is a fucking godsend.
My head is still full of noise.

If you are 40+ and goto gigs, use earplugs.
Your experience with be 100x times better.
