Ace cafe bike night meet up - Tonight 8pm - come along!!!

Hi guys,

Last year we managed to get a reasonable size group along to the ace a couple of times, they host bike night every Friday, but generally speaking the last one of the month is the busiest. I figure it would be good to do it again this year.

For anybody who hasn't been to the ace before, the food is good, there will be plenty of mechanical eye candy and the people are friendly. Plus my uncle twice removed, Bob, told me you're not a proper bike unless you've been there. So come along

Meh, I love the breakfasts, and the pie from there isn't bad either!

I think it's just in a handy location to get to which is what's helped it remain so popular, if you live in London you can get to the ace, if you can get to the M25 you can get to the ace. Plus the fact that the environment is very bike orientated, there aren't that many places I can think of that can compete, certainly not as accessibly for so many people.

To early to say as I work late-ish into the evening at times, but really, the food is crap, honest

Last time I was there they gave me Sausage, chips beans and I asked for bread.

I got:
Nice enough chips, half cooked (maybe 3/4) Sausage and cold beans and toast (specifically asked for bread).

Bikes were real purty though but as an eatery, it wasn't to great!

I finish work at 6.10, need to pop across to the tower of London first to pick the OH up, then hopefully from there directly out to the ace, that'd make it around 7pm give or take 15 minutes. If I have to head home first for any reason then it is more likely to be 8pm.

For now call it 7

The bike nights generally go on pretty late so I'm happy to hang around for a while.
