I think that we should have group reviews of stuff like Boots, leathers, sliders etc...so that they can be compared against each other...having said that, I can imagine that each owner will have some bias towards their own kit Smile

Can I suggest that to start with we leave the reviews of the NSR, so that we we can collate them, as I said people will probably start to get bored if their's a different review of the NSR every week.

We should probably set a deadline for submissions for the first issue. Maybe the end the week?

By then I'll try and get these done:
Teknik Winter jacket
Frank Thomas Gore-tex Gloves
Insurance 'Buying Guide' (Possibbly, if I sort out my NSR insurance I'll do this at the same time)

yea... on consideration I'd agree with tin.

Though it might be worth getting a few reviews on such things to start with, then do a proper 'big' group review later.

i think for the first issue we should take whatever we can get, and if we're lucky to have enough, we can pick and choose from that.

Agree with G on the 'end of the week' deadline - let's just get *something* together and out there.

Could have a "meet of the week" or something... but we would need to get more people than just us in here contributing to it....

No.

But it may be better to just let people write stuff, then modify it to fit our requirements... this way we might get a better idea of what we ant on the submission form.

(and get people (including me Smile) of their arses and doing something.)

Lol. Well I'm looking around for winter gear at the mo so I'll write up what I get.
Also, I volunteer to report on the NEC. Take pics, write it up etc.

I'll try to get a submission form thing knocked up by the end of today...I'll then send passwords to the editors...which brings me to the following point: are we happy to "finalise" the following list of editors (obviously we can add and remove at any time):

G
Tin
EvilBendy
Dodd
Craig
Andrew
Zak
MarsBar
Demonic
Stephen

Personally, this seems like a lot of peeps, and the inevitable recipe for chaos...but what the heck Razz

Please post/email me your emails (tin@tin3d.com)

Cheers,

/me volunteers to be Spelling Editor Very Happy

Seriously, that's a good plan Deano Smile

I think that me, Zak, and Stephen can preliminarily be delegated the role of techies...although, as I said before, these are only our core responsiblities, and we should expect to share duties...anyone is welcome to make suggestions to other departments, but shouldn't take offence if their opinions are shunned...whaddya think?

OOps, meant Rides:D
If the ppl on that list volunteer for a certain category that would be good. Those that know most about each. I'd volunteer for Products as I'm always on the hunt and don't have excessive amounts to spend.
