saving pic's off bcf

Is there a way to save pics directly from bcf other than in bmp form? ie in jpg form?

Depends what people post the pictures as...

Sometimes IE has a bug where it tries to save everything as JPG no matter what the original format was.

Well i've tried to save pics off quite a few ppl today and every time it only gives me the option of bmp

Also when you attach pics.

Some times it displays them in the forum,

Such as when you do [img] [/img] thing.

And sometimes you dont ask it to and yet it displays it the same anyway.

And yet others it does the complete opposite and gives the link under your name...

When you attach pictures they will show up at the bottom of your post. If the pic is too big it will just show up as a link.

Save the pic as a .bmp file then open it up in paint, save as .jpg file. This usually works best in other programs like Paint Shop Pro as it gives better picture quality.

You don't even need to do that. You can just rename it from abc.bmp to abc.jpg Wink
