Hey, Could anyone help me? I have fitted a new barrel, piston and rings to my nsr. I did a compression test on it and i thought it was a bit low. It read 120psi, is this ok? or does any one know the correct pressure?
Cheers

Don't trust a compression test on a two-stroke. The ports are fixed so the air will leak until the piston gets way up and closes the ports.
The best test is when it's running and warmed up. If compression is good it will spin up past 10,000 rpm no problem, and idle around 1500-2000rpm.
Compression tests are for 4-strokes, because they've got a wasted stroke to muck about with.

Incidentally, if you really want to try the compression, you would have to shove the piston up as fast as you can to TDC and stop it there bang on. Not easy.
