I've just splashed out on a new Neotec 3 helmet. It's great, but I want to fit my existing comms unit to it (a Cardo Scala Rider Q1). Now unfortunately Shoei want you to buy their bespoke built-in comms gadget, which while very pretty and neat, is a cool extra £300 - that's definitely not happening. But because the Neotec 3 has a very thick rim (for their comms), it's pretty hard to get my unit to attach (even with a glue pad rather than a screw clamp).

If you've been there, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about! Before I start trying to 'customise' my Cardo unit, I Just wondered if there's anyone here who's been in the same boat and if so, how they've solved it?

Good shout! But sadly, the helmet's symmetrical so has the broad base on both sides Crying or Very sad
