Best to stay away from bikes that have been raced/tuned as they will have been under alot more stress.

Not neccessarily a problem. And if he's after a MX bike then it won't be road legal anyway, so it's clearly going to have been raced regardless.

Most people who race tend to look after bikes better anyway, and MX bikes are designed to race so what's the prob with buying a raced one? Rolling Eyes

If he wants a road bike then they are called enduros and should be looked over in same way as a road bike, but if it's road legal and used for green laning or maybe some enduro races that's not neccessarily a bad thing.
