I have to say, there are a few people on here who are good fun to argue with, people who actually back up their arguments and will put some thought in, and who you come to respect despite differing opinions.

I feel i should apologise to Siggi, I did rip into him a bit strong in a certain thread, and after reading a bit more, i respect what you have to say, even if i disagree, so here it is.

sorry

Ahem.

Move along now, nothing to see here.

I do like a nice argument, with the right people. Siggi is good to argue with, as he generally helps keep it clean. Smile

A few weeks/months ago I had a debate with Kickstart over tax for bicycles. He's too good. Sad Backed me into a corner. Laughing

A debate is good, as long as it doesn't turn into abuse or a flame war. Infac they generally make for the most interesting topics.

I think I respect people who can beat me in arguements, totally pwn me into submission, more than most people I respect. Like pwn me so much it makes me smile in admiration. And there is a few people on here that can do that, I won't name names but they should know who they are.

Plus having arguements without calling names is something we do on here best. Wink

Karma Karma

Oh and I thought the argue between Zen Dog and Siggi about fate was amazing, had me in total awe all the way through. Not many forums you see that sort of thing being debated.

If everyone thought the same, then world would be a boring place. I agree that some people argue that there point of view is the right one and everyone else is wrong, this may be viewed as a personal slating Tut Tut

An argument with Siggi is OK, you just don't get much chance to put anything in edgeways. Laughing

Generally anybody who rips apart your post into little quote boxes are cunts to argue with.

all true.

One thing I like online is you have to read other people's input before you have a go or you look like a tit, whereas try having a debate like this with your mates, usually after some drinks, and it becomes a 'who can should loudest' contest.

And Phantomtek, every time I see your Avatar I laugh, cos I remember the southpark episode! Kudos!

I like a good debate, and don't really see the point in namecalling (i.e. "dickhead" etc). I think it's interesting to have debates - not arguments - with well informed and imaginitive people Smile.

Unfortunately adding someone as a friend no longer increases Karma, because of that reason. Razz

Have you considered the possibility that it is because you are a fuckwit?

Yes, I wrote it off as a distinct absurdity.
