unfortunately not Razz just making the point that if I was doing a serious round the world trip, reliability would have to be the most important factor. You don't want to be in a rush anyway, it just has to get there.

I actually have a hornet, which I also reckon would make a pretty good non-traditional touring bike. I'm heading down to the south of france this summer and maybe into spain to visit an old friend in asturias, spain. I'm also planning a tour of the USA (in a year or 2 when me and the girlfriend have saved up enough to do it right) and I might even ship the hornet over for that Smile

I'm not fussed on the touring thing, its never really apealed to me.

One thing I'd like to do it take my bike over the the Nurbergring and do a lap or two.

Dont think I'll do it this year, want to get a few UK tracks done first, but maybe next year?! Wink

Thumbs Up

That is great, you have it all sorted but shipping the Hornet over might be ££££sss, you can hire a motorcycle over there if you wish for,a Harley springs to mind here, I know of 2 friends of mine who actually done it and they are still talking about it 2 years on! Search the internet and see what you come up with, good luck!
