nsr carb help??

on the carb there is a big screw with a spring on it which i believe is to change the mixture? is this right? also what is the smaller screw just to te left of thiis big screw? and what would the corect settings be for both ? its a 1992 nsr125rk jc20 ?? Smile

the big screw is the throttle screw tightening gives more idle . the pother screw is the pilot screw which must be tighten and undo 2 1/2 turn (900°) . the throttle must be set (warm engine , out of blue zone on the temp clock) at 1400 rpm +-100

a bit of power increase and a smoother engine , because a better filling in mixture especially at high revs . note on your book when you fit them because after 3 years (or 6000 miles) it's better to change them .

Don't mean to be too cheeky but would you also know the standard settings for the pilot screw on a Honda CG125 carb, its an 'L' plate (94). If not then can anyone point me the right direction...cheers, Ow

on four strokes you ears are the best thing for settings . adjust where you hear your engine running smooth by playing with the pilot screw (it could be around this value)
