Ok, I'm normally against buying "Designer Labels" (because they're ridiculously expensive!) but I'm really fussy with my clothes, and can't find what I'm looking for on the high street.

Can anyone name a few "designers" that I could take a look at to see if they do anything like what I want?

Thanks Thumbs Up

Try primark or The george, thats where i go, clothes retailers can piss off with £50 for jeans, id rather spend £8.50 for a pair, when your wearing them £50-£150 jeans no one knows what they are unless they are evisu!

Im such a well spending cunt!

Then i go out spend £1200 on a laptop just to play games! Rolling Eyes

If you want cheaper clothes Zara is brilliant. Their sizes come up quite small so don't be offended if you're normally an 8 and have to buy a 10 Very Happy

I got a great pair of baggy jeans for £6 last month and their t-shirts and jumpers are good value.

Thing is, most designer clothes are only going to fit you if you are the shape/size that they have been designed for........... Confused and most designers of womens clothes are gay men, so unless you have the physique of a teenage boy they're probably not going to be any different to your cheaper high-street alternatives.

What you want isn't designer clothes, it's made to measure. Be prepared to pay for it though!

I've had made to measure stuff made for me before and due to the fact my best mate is a seamstress and makes clothes for dance productions on the south coast, I tend to get them a lot cheaper than most!! Cool Very Happy

Only thing is, she's not exactly in the position to help me out this time due to personal reasons. Hence why I need to find the next best thing Confused

if you fancy a bit of designer stuff but dont know what, have a mooch through tk max

i recently got some trousers from work there

you get some top notch stuff that is dirt cheap purely because its old stock that needs to be shifted

i bought 2 pairs of trousers that were originally £90 for £15 each, and one pair that were £40 for £10.

Obviously id never pay £90 for trousers, but these are definitely worth the extra fiver over £10 asda trousers.

they have loads casual stuff like diesel too

another vote for miss sixty for girls stuff

if you know what size you are, ebay is good too
