Oh well after all the Hype its not that good IMO, graphic wise its spot on but it just lacks something. One thing though when you get into space its VERY big!

Managed to borrow a copy, and am totally obsessed - I wasted about 3 hours earlier when I got home playing it!

Though it certainly seems worthwhile actually buying the game just to get the opportunity to view the planets upon planets of penis monsters that I have no doubt are populating the Sporeverse Smile

I got it today, and I just made it to the space stage and I can't take any more now.

Gotta say the space stage has lost me a little, I'm feeling more tempted to go back to square 1 and be a cell again.

It's epic though, so damn funny. And the modes change so seamlessly I really was surprised to notice I'd hit an RTS from just swimming around.

I'm not in Civilization yet.. I've just met and chosen to ally or destroy every single species on my planet. Now all I need to do is kill one of those level 1000 monsters which seems like it takes aaages...

What I do is hide in some trees where it can't come and keep hitting it with "Spit".

I tried to run the creature creator on my 3-4 year old laptop, and it told me to fuck off and die because I don't have a graphics card.

Yet my laptop plays DoW and Warcraft 3 beautifully.

That said my mate has offered me a reasonably potent computer that plays counterstrike and c+c generals cushily for 50 quid.... you guys reckon that could hack it?

I'll try and find out the specs.
