PostPosted: 00:08 - 14 Dec 2004    Post subject: :sold: [FOR SALE] 2003 Sachs XTC 125 [FOR SALE] :sold: Reply with quote

The Sachs has got to go...the ZX-6R and the (new - about 10 minutes ago, thanks ebay) Fiesta are going to be eating all my money and as I got it on here, it'd be good if it remained a BCF bike

02 Reg (thought first registered in 03),
Approx 13633 kms,
Just been serviced - less than 10kms ago (have reciepts),
Just had new front and rear tyres - Dunlop 207s (not even worn in yet!),
New tail lightbulb,
New indicators - small funky ones,
DataTool Veto Evo alarm system,
Good overall condition,
Slight damage on the seat but doesn't affect the ride - nothing a bit of fiberglass wouldn't fix,
Starts first time,
No MOT needed till Jan 06,
Tax till February I believe - will check but it's only £15!
Needs new chain and sprocket (as reflected in the price),
V5 document,
Owners manual.

Make a brilliant leaner bike. Cheap insurance and looks the Dogs. I gaurantee people will turn heads and ask what size it is. Biggest looking sports-style 125 out there. It did me proud.

Genuine reason for sale, past my test and got a bigger bike...can't afford 3 vehicles!

Here a picture of it when I bought it, will take some more tomorrow...

Retails new for £3799. Looking for £1500 ono (seriously, try haggling, for a BCFer I'll be more lenient). For a 3 year old bike, it's a steal.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at rboxall@rbwebsolutions.co.uk or call 07866 606742 daytime, 01473 420416 (Ipswich) evenings.

Cheers
R

Hmmm...let me think about that for a bit....ummm...nah!

Persuade your mum that a little extra on the 900 you currently owe won't hurt and it's yours. I'll ride it down for you even (for train fair back obviously) and then when you hit 17, you can legally ride it. What you do before 17 is between you and El Ploddo!

What happened to the seat? And can it easily be replaced? Or do you need to buy a new tail

Seat is a weak point. The part around the main screw was damaged when I bought it, fiberglassed back up and feels fine. The other parts broke when I went down a pot hole and landed heavily on it - I ate too many pies. Am going to fiberglass them together this week, easy to do.

You could get a whole new seat, but it doesn't alter the riding of it. Lowers the seat a bit in fact, which is a little high on new ones! You could spend the money getting it into top notch or save up and spend the money on getting your test. I chose test.

Hmmm...let me think about this. £3799 new, £1000 offered 2 years later...that's a depreciation of 73%...take a guess at my answer to you question. £1500 ono, £1000 is only 2/3rds of that amount.

No

Oi! I ain't slow!

You try typing 1 handed when it's not your dominant one.

In case anyone is wondering, I may have sold the bike this weekend bar any more hiccups like last week.
