Well my SV's rear end is now finished!!! Very Happy

I changed:
Arrow A large chunk of orginal undertray now removed Rolling Eyes
Arrow Pyramid undertray
Arrow New indicators that match front oned
Arrow 8x6 plate
Arrow Rearranged storage (now more room due to new undertray

A big thanks to Davo who helped me fit it Thumbs Up

At Davos and just taken the rear fairings of (took ages as was quite a strange to get it off!Easy after we did it once though Thumbs Up)

You can also see my £10 hacksaw from halford i had to buy and when we got back i found one the same in Davos shed Evil or Very Mad , was not happy!!

My bike with a fair bit taken off, we took all the rear except the frame off, in traditional suzuki style my 52reg Sv had a very rusty frame Confused

Of it complete, not a great angle for the pic but otherwise the camera picked up the plate only

After a clean before boxhill (still with the 9x7 plate, 8x6 arrived today and now on)

Photo of it complete, i finished it about 2 hours ago and the flash just focused on the plate so hense it blury

tell me about it, was that £10 one or a £2 one that look like it could cut a piece of paper, is sh*t as i will never use it again and that money was ment to be fuel money!!

If it was purple zxr400er could of had it off me.... Laughing

i know, not one of suzuki's best points, i was really surpised at the amount on the frame (lots of it not exposed) and was garaged but old owner!! lol

Ohlin springs (or simular) and make the front a bit lower (for turning into corners) 15W fork oil so much more "sport" ride (the suspension just doesnt have the feedback, a SRAD shock of 636 shork, so can ajust to my settings.

I think the suspension will be begining of summer as just havnt got time/money at the moment Thumbs Up

Ohlins springs aren't too expensive, so you might as well go with them (is what I did). I'm using standard weight in oil as well - though it might be useful finding out what would work best on the SV - plus a little research into air-gaps and what not to get the damping just right. Maybe a browse into the MiniTwin series - could pick up a few tips that might transfer to road use? Kais Suspension (where I got my gold and yellow stuff from) specialise in Ohlins, maybe a chat with them could enlighten a few tips?
