Nowhere near as bad as AndyC, but I got knocked off this morning on my way to work.

Coming down Kings Rd in Reading, woman going the other way turned right into a side road directly in front of me*

I don't remember hitting her, just getting up and then being told to sit down by a chap who said he was an army medic. God job he did, cos the adrenaline wore off about then.

Trip to the hospital (just round the corner) revealed nothing major. Bruises, scrapes and sprains on my leg and neck.

HG leathers did their job pretty well, ripped on the knee but not right through, but did go through on the back of the calf. Scuffs on my lid where I landed on my face (classy) and a bit of a nose bleed (probably from my glasses.)


Generally ok, just a bit sore. Hey, it's a day off work though

Edit: Police are considering careless driving prosecution against woman driver.

* Yes, poor observation, I know I should have seen her.

No idea how the bike is. Didn't look good but didn't get a chance too look properly before I was carted off in an ambulance.

I think someone has been doing bad things to my voodoo doll. I don't remember breaking any mirrors

Unlucky mate, quite often these things can't be avoided. Even if you see them indicate etc you don't expect them not to see you.
