The National Road Rally is back for 2012. This year’s event will be even more accessible, with different ways to take part to suits bikers from across the England.

The Rally is described as a ‘scatter rally’ for motorcycles where riders plan their own routes around England visiting checkpoints along the way. Riders can choose the most efficient roads for travel or their favourite country routes, whilst raising valuable funds for Mencap.

Eh, did I not read this post right then!!!!!!!!! Laughing Thumbs Up

If it was for England, the post maybe should have read " England National Road Rally " or for the U.K " U.K/GB National........
" or the Scot's" Scottish National Road Rally " or the Irish " Irish National.........." or the Welsh " Welsh National......... " Laughing Thumbs Up

This is just a bit of bannter by the way, I'm sure the post meant to say " The U.K " and not " The England " Thumbs Up Smile Thumbs Up

National - from Nation.

Defined as a large aggregate of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory.

So really England is a nation in its own right because Wales/Scotland have different languages and cultural heritage.

Laughing :clap:Cheers for that Info Matt Thumbs Up I did'nt infer that they were not a Nation, after all Glasgow Celtic were the FIRST UK football club to win the European Cup, not ( as often inferred by the media ) Manchester United, my understanding of the UK or GB consists of four nations being brought together for the benifit of all concerned ( I don't want to go off on a rant about that one in case I'm accused of being nationalistic, or worse ), maybe rachelcroshaw ( I'm not infering anything ) could have posted something along the lines of what Meresysippi posted, Very Happy
Thumbs Up Stay loose and Safe out there Thumbs Up
