My brother (Gixer69 on BCF) has one and has modified it with all sort of nice bits and pieces and he loves it
But he had a problem with the standard chain, which snapped and destroyed the clutch slave cylinder. At first he thought it was a DID chain, but on closer inspection found it to be a Regina, which was the same make fitted as OEM to my KTM enduro. This was swapped for a DID before I even rode my KTM,as I have a big distrust of Regina, having heard of many other mishaps to occur to other friends bikes with that make of chain ____________________ Just talk bikes. What else is there?

Not such a bad thing as the slave's are well known to leak
Would be after as new and as low miles as I can find really, 2013, under 10,000 miles would be ideal. Shame about them having ABS on the newer ones though. ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

Yeah that's the one everyone rates My 690 one doesn't leak either, I think it's just the LC8 where they are crap. Really bugs me that Magura clutches require such painfully expensive oil, the new Brembo ones do not but I've heard shock oil is the same stuff. At least the 690 and 990 use the same Magura set up, and also engine oil I think. ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

Topped up oil before a little ride today - took 200ml or thereabouts to get back up to near full on sight glass. So it's not doing so bad in terms of usage after all |
