|
|
What's the deal with this? I see adverts describing some trials bikes as road registered, but they don't seem to have indicators, number plates etc. Are they road legal?
I have a 2000 Gas Gas TXT 280 that sits at my Ma's in Scotland and never seems to get used anymore.
If I can use it on the road, I may bring it down to London for occasional use when I'm in the mood...and go everywhere on one wheel - back wheel away from the lights, front wheel up to the lights ____________________ If in doubt, flat out |

Road registered just means that it comes with a V5, it doesn't mean that the bike's road legal. |

I'd have loved to put my old RM125 on the road, bloody thing would wheelie in 5th on the powerband! Would have had to do something about the drum brakes though. ____________________ Space Monkey #7

Thanks Tater... methinks a plan is coming together
Supermoto tyres would make it a lot of fun, though I'm not sure I would be able to balance at a standstill without my soft, fat trials tyres.
I reckon my bike will do about 50-55mph if you wring it, 30 is a cruise!
Would sure put that Yamaha Trixster (or whatever it is) in its place ____________________ If in doubt, flat out |
